ColourQ Seasonal Double...

Hi there!

It's time for another great ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are lovely and rich...

There are lots of possibilities with this combo, and I got a bit carried away and made two cards! I started one, then got distracted by a completely different idea, made that one, then came back and finished the first one. This is the one I started first and finished last...

This one uses the fabulous new Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelits. The woodgrain effect on the door panels was created by inking the woodgrain embossing folder with Pacific Point ink then pressing it onto Pacific Point card - it really is worth playing around with using your embossing folders as stamps!

Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Wondrous Wreath
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Pacific Point, Old Olive
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White
Accessories: Brights candy dots
Tools: Woodgrain embossing folder, Wonderful Wreath framelits

Now this is my other card - completely different but still using these colours and new goodies from the Autumn/Winter catty...

This one uses the beautiful Seasonally Scattered sentiment set as well as a little accent stamp from Holiday Home. I stamped the greeting on Naturals White card then embossed with clear EP and watercoloured over the top with Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Pacific Point inks then die-cut with the largest Apothecary framelit. The final touch was colouring in the letters with an Old Olive Blendabilities marker.

Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Seasonally Scattered, Holiday Home.
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Pacific Point, Old Olive, Versamark, Blendabilities (Old Olive)
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Whisper White
Accessories: Brights candy dots, clear EP
Tools: Hexagon Hive thinlit, Apothecary framelit

Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week - they're sure to inspire you!

Thanks for stopping by!
